Ultimately there isn’t a real cure – so why let it bring you down?

Over 10 years ago I started to develop eczema, first on my face, then on my back. This felt normal, as both my sister and dad had battled bouts of eczema over the years so I knew what to expect. It was only later on when I started to become more conscious of it, specifically when going on group summer holidays. 

The jokes do start to impact your confidence, after all we’re all human.

Lads will be lads and banter is only banter, but the jokes do start to impact your confidence, after all we’re all human. However, over time you learn to accept your skin, and realise there are many others that have it worse than you do. Ultimately there isn’t a real cure – so why let it bring you down?
